拍品描述: A Continental 4-piece sewing set, probably French, mid-19th century, comprising silver-gilt scissors with detachable case and steel blades, silver-gilt awl with steel spike and silver-gilt needle case, all with engine-turning and foliate decoration, and a gold thimble with enamel floral frieze in blue, red and green, in wood case with marquetry rose spray, lined in turquoise silk and dark green velvet, box 12.6 cm. long. Some losses to enamel frieze on thimble, minor wear to silk, couple of tiny scratches to wood, generally good, main issue is loss to enamel on thimble
