拍品描述: A pair of parcel-gilt silver commemorative quaichs by Hector Miller for Aurum, London, 1972, numbered 398 and 399 of Limited Edition of 1000 to commemorate 500th anniversary of completion of Gothic Minster and end of 5 years restoration work to York Cathedral, handles chased in relief with Medieval stone mason and modern welder in hard helmet, hammered sides and collet foot with inscribed bases, 17.5 cm. wide, 10.3 cm. diameter, wt. 637 gm. Fine condition, as new.
