拍品描述
The rounded globular body supported on a tall, slightly spreading foot, the short waisted neck with wide everted rim, finely enamelled in the famille rose palette, painted to the exterior on either side with a rocky terraced garden containing enormous pink, red and gilt peony blooms, a pair of birds perched on an apple blossom branch, divided by a pair of molded lion head biscuit handles, the interior painted with various fish and shellfish swimming amongst aquatic plants, the rim intricately painted with eight interlinked cartouches on a turquoise ground, the base unglazed. Period: Early Qianlong Period, (1736?1795), circa 1740. Height: 44 cm, Diameter: 59.5 cm.
