拍品描述: Chinese gilt bronze Buddha Arhat figure of Bhadra the Elder, Sthavira Bhadra, ShriBdhara, the 6th Arhat from the set of 16 great arhats.
Cast in gazing forward with the eyes partially closed, content in appearance, with receding hair, a moustache and goatee. Held upraised the right hand is in the mudra (gesture) of Dharma explication. The left is placed in the lap, with the palm facing up, in the mudra of meditation. Wearing patchwork patterned robes with a inner lining, sits firmly in vajra posture
Extensive trace of gilt remain on surface.

The underside with incised Quadre-foil flori-form petals visvavajra mark surrounded the centralized DaiJi.
