拍品描述: Chinese porcelain MeiPing vase formed with globular body, wider and rounded shoulder, gently waisted toward flat base, tapered gracefully toward short neck leading to a banded rim and narrow opening. The underglazed exterior decorated with hand-painting in cobalt blue underglaze with dragon in pursuit of flaming pearl amidst curved flames and floral shaped clouds. The dragon characterized with its four-toe claws, large scales, and flowing tassel on four elbows. The underside left unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground and spiral pattern, grayish darker spotted firing marks, with edge-cut foot rim.
