Chinese porcelain charger is finely potted in shallow vessel, round wall terminating from wide broad central interior; decorated with polychrome hand painting of vivid color peach abundant and branching foliate, three flying orange-red Fu-bats. The comforting exterior decorated with two orange-red Fu-bats and three peaches. Displayed upon a wooden stand. The design referred as, Eight peaches (batao) and five bats (WuFu), WuShou ShangGuan, may you possess both blessings and longevity. The Eight peaches stand for Eight Immortals whom bestow longevity, The bats are a pun for the five blessings: longevity, wealth, health, love of virtue, and a peaceful death. The peach (Tao) signifies the second month of the lunar calendar. Also symbolizes marriage, spring, justice and especially Daoist immortality (longevity), and one of the Three Abundances (Three Plenty).
Mark on base, a six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, YongZheng Reign Period of Great Qing.
