19TH CENTURY 大清道光年製 the straight sides painted in iron red with a band of squared scrolls formed from confronting kui dragons, between trefoil and lappet bands, the interior molded with a grid in gilt borders, dividing scattered floral sprays, the turquoise base inscribed with a six-character Daoguang seal mark in iron red. Height 2 in., 5 cm. condition:In overall good stable condition. The gilt details rubbed alongside surface soiling and shelfwear to the foot. Two minor flakes to the glaze at the underside.
