An early 17th Century oval pair cased hour repeating verge watch, signed "Matheus Greillach Aug[sburg]" Manual winding mechanism with key, verge escapement, quarter repeating, sundial and compass. Baluster pillars. Gilt-metal case and dial with engraved floral and naked faminine design. Outer case probably in fish skin covering and decorated with silver piqué work. A key is attached.
