拍品描述: Albarello with St. Peter Martyr — Naples, Francesco Antonio Saverio Grue, c. 1730 Wide cylindrical form with slightly indented wall; on the front rectangular reserve, in the centre kneeling saint with an axe in his skull, in a river landscape with people, mountains and architecture, at his feet inscription plate ''Fundatus erat supra firma petram''. White-ground glazed majolica with painting in blue, green, yellow, brown and manganese. Verso on the wall sign. ''D' FAGrue Pingebat Neapoli a. 1732''. H. 21 cm. - Restored at the rim. - Francesco Antonio Saverio Grue (1686-1746) was a native of Castelli, but worked for many years in Naples, where he produced Apothecary Jars for the Farmacia di Carlo Mondelli, among others. // Albarello mit dem heiligen Petrus Martyr — Neapel, Francesco Antonio Saverio Grue, um 1730 — Breite Zylinderform mit leicht eingezogener Wandung; auf der Schauseite Rechteckreserve, im Mittelpunkt kniender Heiliger mit einem Beil im Sch?del, in einer Flusslandschaft mit Personen, Bergen und Architektur, zu seinen Fü?en Inschriftentafel "Fundatus erat supra firma petram".
