Very fine and rare Chinese Qing porcelain snuff bottle, the four reserved panels featuring minute details in applique and high relief, finished with famille rose enamel. The two main panels depict Bai Juyi's famous poem, "Pipa Tune" and the two side panels showcase scholar's items. The turquoise ground penciled with floral vines in fine lines, accented by two ribboned flower heads in applique. Base bears a four character Qianlong mark in coral red. 3" (7.62cm), Circa - 19th C.
