拍品描述
Description Signed Kaito to the reverse Inlaid in mixed metal with a dove on a river shore, finely engraved with a poem. Bushell translates the poem as follows. “The spring air softens/rejoices my heart. I imagine sprouting grass in Kototoi (bridge on the bank of the Sumida River in Tokyo). I wish I was there.” According to Bushell, Kaito is an artist who made metalwork as well as carvings from ivory. This lot contains materials which require a CITES licence for export outside of the EU contract countries. We would like to inform you that such licenses are usually not granted.
