The censer is carved as a luduan standing with four legs ending in clawed feet. The detachable cover is modelled as the head of the ferocious beast with jaws agape and teeth bared, the beast with finely incised mane and tail flying behind, the stone is of white tone to the front half body and with russet skin to the rear half body. Ming Dynasty period. Jade luduan censer of this size is relatively rare.
