restored and under a light one can see the bowl has been in several pieces with at least three large pieces restored back on rim measuring into total an area approximately 18cm long x 4cm high and the interior of the bowl with old restoration spray now a cream colour with age and peeling away and under a bright light most pieces are present but there are two small black areas measuring approximately approximately 4mm x 3m and 3mm x 2mm which are presumably filled areas where the porcelain is missing
