Fired clay. Pre-Columbian America, Nazca, around 500
Small vessel in rough double gourd form, the short spout is pipe-shaped. Flat bottom, lower vessel part is globular, the head of a shaman is depicted in the segment above. Long, black hair, big eyes and wheel-shaped, sharp, curved nose, bared teeth. Grid pattern on belly side in blackish and whiteish tone. The Peruvian culture of Nazca – approx. 200 BC to 600 AD – was located in the South of Lima. Good condition.
