The motifs and sizes are very diverse; the smallest and completely gilded menuki shows a man dragging a heavy bag. The next larger piece is the famous scene with the monkey grabbing with his long arm at the reflection in water of the full moon. Then a furious dragon and a group composed of an oxen and man, not exactly recognizable, poss. the legendary Sofu. The biggest piece is a composition with water, bamboo and crab.
