Glazed ceramic. Japan, 19th cent. to Meiji
Spherical form over a foot ring and with dynamically flared mouth. Light blue-grey glaze with partly compact craquelé. Rust-brown coloring of craquelé, as well as on some glaze cracks. Minor caking on the recessed foot surface. This vessel could also be older than stated.
