拍品描述: Netsuke, ivory. Japan, 19th cent. A rather unusual, elongated composition made of several clams, including the abalone awabi and Venus clam hamaguri. In the last mentioned is a minogame, a little turtle with compact hairy tail, overgrown with algae due to its old age. The ivory was patinized with brown color, the himotoshi underneath.
