拍品描述: Netsuke, ivory. Japan, 19th cent. An especially fine netsuke in anatomically spirited craftmanship! The boy, naked except for an apron, has a defined bald head and smiles in amusement. He is crawling on the ground and holds a rattle with a little covering shaped like a chrysanthemum. The small himotoshi are located in the boys′s belly. Finest decorative pattern on the apron, which is laced on the back. Beautiful polish and patina! LENGTH 3,4 CM From an old German collection
