Glazed ceramic. China, Yuan to Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644)
This attractive, formal, very balanced footed cup has a flared foot with strong ribbing, vessel with widely curved sides, rounded, flared rim. Inside is a small, multi-petalled blossom. Beautiful, homogeneous grey-green glaze of this Longquan ware, only little wenig craquelé. Light traces of use, minor irregularities from firing, foot unglazed and red-brown.
