Large Chinese Kangxi Enameled Porcelain Charger with a hexagonal center of birds & flowers surrounded by 6 petal shaped openings with antiques and figures on an iron red background; the reverse plain with an underglaze "Ruyi" Mark inside double circles in underglaze blue to base. Four breaks re-stuck with some overpainting to rim; small chips and glaze flakes to edge as usual. Diameter 14 1/2 inches (37 cm.). Provenance: Ralph Chait illustrated Arts of Asia Magazine 1980's to Florida Collection to Property removed from the estate of an old Princeton, New Jersey collector of Chinese Art.
