Description Gyula Tornai (Hungarian, 1861-1928), "The Moroccan Bride," Orientalist School oil on panel depicting a commanding portrait of a woman in elaborate ceremonial attire, holding before her two intertwined sticks adorned with flowers, rendered in the aesthetic taste, signed "Tornai GY" lower right, the panel set in a gilt and ebonized Orientalist frame designed by Tornai to complement the subject matter.
