拍品描述: Description A framed 17th century Charter, dated 23 December 1620 by Thomas (Hamilton), Earl of Melrose, Lord Byres and Binning, in favour of Quintigern (i.e. Kentigern, or, Mungu) Mill (or Milne) of one and a half husbandlands of Newton in the regality of Melrose, Roxburgnshire, with their pertinents and the house at present occupied by the said Quintigern, signed T Melrose and Jhone Makley and David Makcullo, witnesses, i.e. by John Mackley and David McCulloch who were servitors to the Earl, with the seal (repaired) of the Earl of Melrose. 9 x 26 1/4 in.
