Ming Dynasty, 16/17th centuryThe sides decorated in a continuous band with leafy branches of lychee on a diaper-cell ground, between wavy lotus petals above the foot and further diaper-cell at the rim, a simple animal-headed loop handle at one end (a later small metal ladle). 4 1/2in (11.4cm) across (2).
