拍品描述
Stoutly potted with gently rounded sides terminating with a wide flori-form lobed petal rim, brightly painted to the interior with a five-clawed writhing dragon above rock and crashing waves, the cavetto with two pheasants amidst flowering and fruiting trees before the bands of fine lines conforming the cavetto, further decorated with floral sprays on the sides and geometrical pattern on the rim. The underside base left unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground with burnt orange and darker spots in the firing.

Dimension: 3" H x 18" Diam.

PROVENANCE:
Acquired in 2008 from Vosper Collection estate, Stroud, Gloucestershire 2008, prominent antique collectors of the West. In the last half of the 20th Century he attended thousands of sales throughout Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties.
