拍品描述: Description Property from an English Collection PAUL MARNY (FRENCH/BRITISH 1829-1914) A Busy Continental Town and River Scene (c.1872) signed P Marny (lower left) watercolour, pen, and brown ink heightened with white 24 x 35 cm Marny was born in Paris, he worked in the theatre, and as a porcelain decorator for the Sèvres factory, before moving to Belfast to work as an architect. In 1860 he moved to Scarborough, at the suggestion of Oliver Sarony, the photographic pioneer and brother of Napoleon Sarony.
