An ebonised wooden automaton Empire mantle clock, decorated with brass mounts, depicting to the front Cupid and Psyche, in an architectonic setting with four alabaster Doric order columns backgrounded by a mirror, on top a gilt and carved wooden sitting eagle, the dial with automatic figures of two cupids playing a workshop scene of a smith and a grinder according to the rhythm of the clockwork, the first half of the 19thC, possibly Vienna, H 73,5 - W 41 cm
