拍品描述: Description 19th c., incl. a travel desk with brass lid placard, straps, and escutcheon, interior fitted with embossed leather writing surface covering storage compartments, and cubbies, an ornate burl wood and mother of pearl lap desk, with scrolled and parquetry inlay, interior fitted with velvet lined writing surface, and rosewood veneered compartments, "Bloomingdale's England" sticker label to underside, and a mahogany tea caddy fitted with two interior compartments, 6"h x 11.75"w x 8.75"d (travel desk), 5.75"h x 11.5"w 5.5"d (tea caddy), 4.75"h x 13"w x 10.5"d (burl wood travel desk) Condition Report Fair/Poor, losses, cracks, veneer losses, chips, leather wear and lifting, surface distress, foil linings mostly worn off, shrinkage, glass ink jar lacking lid, each shows age and use **Condition reports are rendered as specialist opinion by the staff of the Auction House and not as statements of fact.
