拍品描述: Overall decorated with tortoise shell, ivory nailed panels and open worked ivory decoration; blank ivory cartouche for a monogram centrally applied to the top of the lid. The interior decorated with velvet, original key, the whole on ivory lion feet.

Wear consistent with age. Part of the ivory decoration on the top missing.

Please note: this lot contains ivory and is therefore subject to the relevant trade restrictions in correspondence with CITES regulations. The import of ivory in to the United States has been banned. Customers should familiarize themselves with the relevant Cites regulations before bidding. More information can be obtained through the saleroom.
