拍品描述: Issei

The body of cypress wood, applied with a spindly crab in persimmon and boxwood, with buffalo horn eyes, a small crab hiding in a rock below, and with bamboo grass in mother-of-pearl
Signed on separate wood tablets: issei saku and mori shunshū

A somewhat less dramatic tonkotsu with crab motif was offered by Bonhams London, 13th May 2008, lot 341. It was allegedly signed Tsujo Issei with a seal which was read by them as Seijo. An alternative reading of Issei is Issho
