Sturdily potted with a full rounded body rising to a waisted, slightly flared cylindrical neck, flanked by stylized elephant handles. The central body delightfully decorated with battle scene in cobalt blue underglaze painting enclosed within medallion. Covered in a characteristically thick, sgraffiato bright celadon glaze with vigorous dragons encircled the medallion toward centralized flaming pearl on central neck. The glaze stopped at the foot rim, revealing the pale-creme unglazed ground, while the receded central base left white underglaze. The zun vase elegantly displayed upon a carved hardwood base.
Mark on base, a seal mark, of six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
