Extremely rare spinach green jade seal; Qing dynasty; of square section surmounted by a pair of addorsed dragons; each powerfully carved with bulging eyes flanked by curling whiskers; the sturdy body incised with the scales and the flowing mane; pierced through the centre for suspension; the four sides are fully incised with seal script calligraphy; the seal face crisply worked with a border enclosing a six-character inscription in seal script reading Shi Quan Lao Ren Zhi Bao (meaning "the treasure of the Old Man of the Ten Completed Great Campaigns"); H: 11.5 cm, L: 10.8 cm, W: 10.8 cm, 2784 grams
