拍品描述: China, 19^th century. Of cylindrical form and resting on three short feet, painted in underglaze blue with a continuous scene depicting scholars conversing by the riverside, one pointing to a fisherman approaching them, all among trees and rockeries.

Condition: Very good condition with expected traces of wear.
Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by a third-generation member of the Holzapfel family after 1995 and has remained in the family ever since.
