拍品描述: Japan, Meiji period (1868-1912)

Painted in underglaze blue and green and overglaze iron-red and gold with flowering branches above a band of lobed panels. The inside with scrolling vine border and a flower at the bottom. Apocryphal four-character Wanli mark on the underside.

HEIGHT 7.5 cm

Condition: Good condition with expected traces of wear and a microscopic chip to rim.
Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by a third-generation member of the Holzapfel family after 1995 and has remained in the family ever since.
