Tibet c. 1920. The rectangular box with a domed lid is finely worked in repoussé with gilded deer and fish amongst floral scrolls and within auspicious symbols, the backside with further floral engravings. The elongated box with a variety of designs including Buddhist motifs, scrolling foliage, and two parcel gilt sinuous dragons; the body and cover connected by a silver chain.
Condition: Very good condition with expected wear and traces of use. Provenance: Austrian private collection.
