拍品描述: China, 19th century, late Qing dynasty (1644-1912). Finely carved as a seated Guanyin, one hand in bhumisparsha mudra and the other holding a flaming pearl. Her facial features are serene, her voluminous robe is finely carved, and her hair is minutely incised and inked. Behind her is a gilt-lacquered flaming aureole. The ivory is partially stained, and her belly button is inlaid with a small coral bead. Four-character cinnabar lacquer seal mark underneath.

Condition: Very good condition. Some age cracks and wear to stained details. Surface scratched underneath.
