China, late Qing to Republic period (1900-1950). Of cylindrical form with plain sides. The wood is of a red-brown tone with natural grain and some scattered ghost face striations. The central cavity to the top is 8.5 cm deep.
Condition: Fine condition with some wear and traces of use, mostly to top rim. Provenance: Ex-Collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
