China, 17th/18th century. Neatly potted in imitation of bronze. Compressed spherical form, the rounded sides rising from a spreading foot to an everted rim, with two applied and incised lionmask handles.
Condition: Good condition with old wear. Minor firing flaws especially to the masks. Microscopic nibbling and two small chips to lip. Provenance: From an old French private collection.
