拍品描述: Incredible example of the ref. 1665 stainless steel Rolex Sea-Dweller on a bracelet with a beautiful dial, displaying an even, eggshell colored patina. This 4.1 million serial dates the watch being manufactured in approximately 1976 and is a Double Red Sea-Dweller case with straight Rolex writing engraved on the caseback. This engraving is only found on Double Red Sea-Dweller cases. All case serials match to be consistent for a Double Red Sea-Dweller ref. 1665. The 40mm case retains nice, even lugs. The watch winds, sets and runs at time of cataloguing, however, no service history is known and no guarantee of working condition or timekeeping is provided.
