ROYAL COPENHAGEN. BUST OF NAPOLEON I, SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY.
Biscuit figure, after the model of the sculpture by Bertel Thorvaldsen from 1830. In Empire style, he is depicted with a crown of laurels and a shield hanging from his shoulder. The bust rests on the imperial eagle with its open wings, the back of which is moulded with a palm.
Signed with three blue waves.
