清 竹黃獸面紋出戟花觚 Qing Dynasty period. Carved after the gu bronze vase and of rectangular section with raised flanges, the center section carved with archaistic taotie mask, the flared neck carved with upright leaves, the foot carved with archaistic dragon motif. Height: 12 7/8 in (33.0 cm) 此花觚以竹為材，采用貼黃工藝精制而成，仿青銅花觚造型，撇口、小鼓腹、方足外撇，口大底小，四角飾出戟紋，頸部蕉葉紋上飾錦地紋，腹部精刻饕餮紋，下腹錦地上刻夔龍紋，紋飾精美，刻劃精細，古樸雅致。
