The finely potted thin body of slightly rounded and hexagonal floral-lobed sides, rising from a short foot base to an indented mouth rim, the interior freely incised with a flowering lotus spray within a medallion at the centre, overall covered in an ivory-white glaze with characteristic pooling into a deeper tone in the recesses, Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), in overall very good condition, minor firing imperfections, formerly in the collection of 'Vermeer & Griggs Asian Art', 7 1/4 in. (18.4 cm) diam.
