拍品描述: Description A Bronze Alloy Dipankara Buddha with Traces of Silver, a Young Serene Face Adorned with a Five Leaf Tiara, Nepal, 17th/18th Century the hair coiled high, wearing a pleated robe draped over the left shoulder, falling above the bare feet, the right hand is raised in the gesture of protection while the left hand open in the gesture of gift bestowing. Framed by a flame-edged aureole & standing on a lotus pillow raised on a tiered rectangular throne protected by two lions, Provenance: Au Lion des Neiges Notes: For centuries the contribution of the Newar metal sculptures of the Kathmandu Valley & Patan have been acknowledged as the masters of the craft. They were patronised by royalty & the wealthy classes. Condition: Overall very good condition with one small flower missing from the side. H 55 cm W 36 cm
