sericulture, the different stages of silk production illustrated, with workers picking up silk worms from mulberry trees, others weighing cocoons and two women weaving silk, the design rendered in folded paper and silk on the painted background, signed Sekka to the side and with a red seal mark, framed and glazed, 55cm x 89cm. See Japanese Works of Art, 14th November 2018, lot 1063, for another oshi-e panel depicting sericulture by Sekka sold in these rooms.
