拍品描述: Bohemian, Prague, circa 1855, magnificently decorated and precisely executed rifle/shotgun combination by famous czech by gunsmith Jan Burda in Prag (1792 – 1862), for Lefaucheux pinfire cartridges, damascus steel barrels, length 700 mm, 13 mm calibre, the upper barrel marked J. Burba in Prag in gold, bolt plates marked J. BURDA – V PRAZE in gold, bolts and an iron set are decorated with engraved ornaments and huntings scenes, labeled ARMANDE 1351, stock from nuts wood, magnificently carved decoration with plant motif, stock with a cheekpiece and a case in the butt stock - decorated with engraved ornaments and hunting scene, excelent original condition, signs of age and usage, overall length 110 cm. Prague gunsmith Jan Burda (1792 - 1862) - master since 1819, since 1821 a citizen of Prague, in 1829 and 1836 adviser to the evaluation committee at industrial exhibitions in Prague, in 1855 he participated in the world exhibition in Paris, where this rifle could be exhibited. Rifles of this quality were made at that time for a very important customer from the circle of the highest nobility and similarly made rifles are documented in the possession of members of the Austrian imperial court, from the circle of Prince Metternich, Count Salm and heir to the Austrian throne Archduke Ferdinand d'Este.
