拍品描述: , Title: Street scene, Date: year 1920, Technique: oil on canvas, Painting dimensions: 80.5 x 60 cm, Signed and dated: lower right Clementschitsch 1920, Exhibited: 18th Venice Biennale, Italy, 1932 (information from the author's family), The presented work belongs to a series of street scenes, which the author developed at the turn of the 10th and 20th years of the 20th century. It is a very important work from his most valuable creative period. Works from this period and in this extraordinary quality are offered on the auction market quite sporadically. The originality of the work was consulted with the author's family: Claudia Seelich-Mayerhofer, curator and great-niece of Arnold Clementschitsch, and Olivia Clementschitsch, great-great-niece of the author, director of Kunstraum Villach.
