拍品描述: Art Deco Diamond Platinum Watch By Dione Watch Co 2.60Cts This is a very nice, rare Art Deco diamond and platinum wristwatch By Dione Berthoud Watch Co. It features a two piece rectangular case attached to a hinged integrated platinum bracelet with pierced floral inspired lugs. It is decorated with 111 round cut diamonds that weigh approximately 2.60cts total and centrally set with a interwoven mesh design. The watch measures 5 1/2" long and terminates with a highly etched rectangular clasp topped with a folding "security" buckle. It weighs 21.67dwt which gives you $1500 just in scrap platinum value! This is a high grade Swiss 15 jewel nickel plated brass baguette movement with a lever escapement signed "Dione Berthoud Watch Co". The watch is in non-running condition (needs overhaul). It is topped with an original silver painted dial with large Art Deco indexes and blue steel Breguet hands. As you can see from the photos, the watch is in overall very good condition.
