Oak case with arched hood and three carved large giltwood figures above an arched door, turned ebonized quarter columns; a 30 hour weight driven time/strike/alarm movement with original painted tin dial and cast spandrels, the dial is painted with a military motif including an automaton of equestrian soldiers; shaped lower case with small pendulum window. Lacking weights, pendulum included. {Approximate dimensions: 64 high x 16 wide x 9 inches high.}> Condition: Some wear to the case, including small cracks to the lower section and a loss to a couple applied turnings. Minor finish wear.. The dial with surface scratches, very minor paint loss. The gilt figures are in excellent condition. There is some apparent restoration to the case interior. The clock has not been wound or tested. There are two hooks to the front of the case with no apparent current use. Crack to pendulum window glass.
