拍品描述: and red/ brown painted details, with later inked inscription 'Athens', 6.5cm high, a small aryballos with tapered cylindrical body and red/ brown painted horizontal bands, bearing paper label inscribed 'GREECE', 7.5cm high, a small twin handled circular bowl, 6.5cm diameter x 3.5cm high, a single handled oviform cup/ bowl, 8.5cm high x 7.5cm diameter, a skyphos, lacking one handle, inscribed on paper label 'CORINTH', 9.5cm high, together with remaining jugs, vessels and pots, (qty). Provenance: James Ewing Somerville (1843-1923) who had a second home in Menton, South of France and would visit Ventimiglia in Northern Italy to attend "Roman sales" in the period circa 1880-1900.
