拍品描述: to Lord Dillon, Rome, Novemr. 29th, 1741, condoling him on the death of his brother, thanking him and his family for their expressions of attachment to him, stating that "your own personal merit, and that of your family with mine, will always induce me to have a particular regard and kindness for you and yours", expressing the hope that his journey into England will be a success and pleasure that his brother's regiment had been given to him. Signed James R., together with another letter written to 'Le Cardinal Colloredo' signed 'Your affectione Cousin Jaques R.' with real wax seal, with typed note detailing the contents of the letter to Lord Dillon, (3).
