拍品描述: GENERAL D'HASTREL (1766-1846) Lettre au Préfet des Bouches-de-la-Meuse, 1813 Le Baron étienne d'Hastrel de Rivedoux (1766-1846), général fran?ais de la Révolution et de l’Empire, nommé directeur-général de la conscription militaire le 13 mars 1812, poste qu'il conserve jusqu'à la paix de 1814. Lettre signée et datée ? Paris, le 2 mars 1813 ? à l’entête du Ministère de la Guerre, le Général de Division, Baron de l’Empire, Directeur général, adressée à Monsieur le Préfet du département des Bouches-de-la-Meuse, Goswin Joseph Augustin, Baron de Stassart (1780-1854), homme d'état et écrivain belge du 19ème siècle. Provenance : Sotheby's London, 7th December 2000 & Private collection, Monte-Carlo. Baron étienne d'Hastrel de Rivedoux (1766-1846), French general of the Revolution and the Empire, appointed director-general of military conscription on March 13, 1812, a post he held until the peace of 1814. Letter signed and dated "Paris, March 2, 1813" to the letterhead of the Minister of War, the General of Division, Baron of the Empire, Director general, addressed to Mr. the Prefect of the department of Bouches-de-la-Meuse, Goswin Joseph Augustin, Baron de Stassart (1780-1854), 19th century Belgian statesman and author.
